A friend of mine recommended this place years ago and today, we finally made it!
I ordered the Chorizo Etouffee with chicken and the better half ordered the Drunken Chicken. The order came out in less time than it actually took us to order it, and I realized that was par for the steady stream of customers they had coming in and going out while we were there.
The etouffee was flavorful and spicy with a nice amount of meat and rice, I was happy to discover it wasn't a plate full of rice!! The bread that came with the meal was delicious - someone said Old Bay?! Count me as a fan!
Price was right, service was friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was cajun/NO enough for me! Would definitely visit again!! I also enjoyed the something different than the usual fare around town!

My boyfriend went to the one in Carmel and told me I'd like their food. We came here today. Upon entering, you're greeted by a tantalizing smell. We walked to the counter and looked at the menu. After a minute, we were greeted by a gentleman who told us more about the menu. Since we couldn't decide, he went into the back and came back with 4 small samples of each menu item. ALL of them were SO good, but my 2 favorites were the drunken chicken and the red beans and sausage. Me and my boyfriend and I ended up getting a pint of drunken chicken and some extra bread. I'm eating as I write this. I will definitely be back to try some red beans and rice, and hopefully, they have a gumbo next time I come. The gentleman working the counter was super friendly also

The food here is simply incredible and full of flavor. The chili cheese etoufee is the best. I’m not sure of the names of the two guys working there when I visited on 10/25, but they were so sweet and kind. Customer service was amazing. I had a large order, and they helped me get it to my car. Can’t recommend this place enough.

I live out of town and was excited to eat here because I havent been for probably 5years. I ordered the 2 dishes for $10 meal. Food was great except the bread, it was drenched in oil. Also the serving size has definitely been cut back. I use to get my food on a bigger dish and it was piled high. I could never finish it and had left overs to take home. Over all, the flavors of everything was great.

Friendly, fast service, unique atmosphere and flavors and generous portions. I had the red beans & rice. They were tasty and well prepared, but living so close to Cajun country for years has spoiled me, so I can't say it's the best I've tasted (I actually prefer my own recipe using a lot of "Slap Ya Mama" seasoning). I haven't seen any other Cajun restaurants nearby, so if you have a craving for Cajun this is a good option. This is mostly a take-out restaurant (many people came in for take-out while we were dining in); only three other people dined in while we were there for dinner on a Thursday evening. My husband had the chili cheese Étouffée and he thought the taste was interesting, but he didn't think it tasted like Cajun. Flavors are definitely different from the Louisiana flavors we are familiar with. This is a very popular restaurant in Indy.
